BELFOR Franchise Group is seeking a General Estimator to develop and manage estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will meet with clients, prepare accurate scopes and budgets using Xactimate, and oversee projects from start to finish with close collaboration to management.

The role requires strong math, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on timely delivery and adherence to industry standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to create and manage estimates across residential, commercial and industrial lines.
• Experience with Xactimate and Sketch for accurate scopes and floor plans.
• Strong client liaison skills and ability to communicate progress to management.
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety practices.
• Ability to develop and adhere to budgets and address variances.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate scopes and floor plans with multi-level sketches.
• Develop quality and competitive estimates using Xactimate.
• Maintain schedules and coordinate with trades to ensure on-time completion.
• Respond to client inquiries and provide proactive updates.
• Adhere to BELFOR naming conventions for estimates and docs.
• Participate in ongoing training to advance estimator certifications.
