Job summary

BELFOR seeks an Estimator to join our estimating track, handling residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will meet with clients, develop competitive estimates using Xactimate, and manage jobs through completion with budget reviews and progress communications.

Qualified candidates will have strong analytical and communication skills, experience with Xactimate, and the ability to work with building codes and schedules while maintaining BELFOR standards.

Qualifications

• Fluent English language and writing ability.
• Proven analytical, quantitative and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong customer service orientation with professional communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in estimates and documents.
• Experience with Xactimate software and MS Office is required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain local area clientele, primarily insurance adjusters and local businesses.
• Create accurate floor plans in Xactimate Sketch.
• Demonstrate knowledge of applicable building codes.
• Develop budgets and address overages as needed.
• Use BELFOR naming conventions for estimates, proposals and change orders.
• Maintain construction schedules and coordinate with trades to ensure on-time completion.
