Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration in the Omaha area is seeking an Estimator to advance through our Estimating track. The role focuses on creating and managing estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial projects using Xactimate, meeting client needs, and guiding work to completion.

The candidate will review budgets, manage costs, and communicate progress with clients and management, while maintaining safety, quality, and compliance with BELFOR standards.

Qualifications

• English literacy and fluency.
• Understanding of MSDS data sheets and applicability to jobs.
• Use BELFOR Estimate Format Standards for Xactimate estimates and proposals.
• Extensive customer service experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills; experience with Xactimate.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain local clientele to refer losses; clientele includes adjusters, businesses, schools and municipalities.
• Create accurate floor plans in Xactimate Sketch.
• Work with building codes and maintain knowledge of local codes.
• Develop budgets and address overages as they appear.
• Use BELFOR naming conventions for estimates, revisions, proposals and change orders.
• Manage construction schedule; coordinate with trades to finish on time.
• Demonstrate proficiency in decontamination and related services.
• Engage in training; pursue Xactimate certification tests as role requires.
• Independently manage own work and maintain vehicle safety.
• Complete accident, injury, and incident reporting forms promptly.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Support BELFOR USA Group, Inc as World Class in the industry.
