Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an Estimator to join the estimating track, handling residential, commercial and industrial projects. You will meet with clients, develop high-quality estimates using Xactimate, and manage jobs through completion while communicating progress to clients and management.

Responsibilities include building floor plans, budgeting, reviewing invoices, and ensuring costs are captured in job costs monthly. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• English literacy and fluency.
• Understanding of MSDS data sheets and applicability to jobs.
• Must use the BELFOR Estimate Format Standards for Xactimate estimates, proposals, etc.
• Extensive Customer Service experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, experience with Xactimate.
• Professional demeanor and appearance, excellent telephone skills.
• Ability to work well with others, maintain professional interaction with co-workers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to develop quality and competitive estimates.
• Create accurate floor plans in Xactimate Sketch.
• Maintain local area clientele and refer losses to BELFOR.
• Manage budgets and address overages; review invoices and labor costs.
• Follow BELFOR naming conventions for estimates, proposals, and change orders.
• Maintain a construction schedule and coordinate with trades to meet timelines.
• Demonstrate proficiency with decontamination, mitigation and deodorization tasks.
