Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Sauk City, WI, is seeking an Estimator in Training to learn estimating procedures and support the lead estimator in delivering accurate, profitable repair estimates. The role emphasizes customer communication and teamwork within our production environment.

The position requires a high school diploma, 16 I-CAR units to complete in 12 months, and 4–6 years of related experience preferred. Strong communication and Microsoft Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must complete 16 I-CAR units within 12 months of employment.
• Preferred: 4–6 years related work experience.
• Photo-imaging software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Greet customer at repair drop off and build rapport.
• Maps damage with customer and identifies WOW opportunities.
• Manages estimates in CCC One with photos and notes.
• Notifies production of arrivals and verifies estimates during teardown.
• Finalizes estimates using Repair Planning Template.
• Coordinates with repair team on windshield notations and parts list.
• Sets promise dates and reviews estimates with customers.
• Provides regular updates to customers per management standards.
• Assists insurance adjusters and claim inspectors.
