Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Construction Estimator to support commercial projects from preconstruction through bidding. You will analyze costs, perform detailed takeoffs, and prepare winning estimates using Bluebeam and PROCORE.

Ideal candidates have 3–8 years of estimation and construction management experience, and strong negotiation, communication, and team collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in project estimation, bidding, and construction management (3–8 years).
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of project costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and time requirements.
• Prepare accurate and competitive project estimates and bids.
• Conduct thorough material take offs (MTO) to determine project requirements.
• Utilize Bluebeam and PROCORE to enhance estimation accuracy and efficiency.
• Participate in the negotiation process with clients and suppliers to secure profitable contracts.
• Collaborate with the construction management team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

• Assist in the preparation of project budgets and financial reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-8 years of experience in project estimation, bidding, and construction management.
• Proficiency in using industry‑specific software such as Bluebeam and PROCORE.
• Solid understanding of commercial construction, blueprint reading, and material take off (MTO).
• Exceptional negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing profitable contracts.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and competitive project estimates.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of construction industry trends and advancements.
• Professional certification in project estimation or construction management will be an added advantage.
