Jobot is seeking Estimators for our preconstruction department in St. Louis. You’ll contribute to competitive bids on commercial, education, healthcare and industrial projects, leading takeoffs and cost planning.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction estimating, a Bachelor's in CM or Civil Eng, and proficiency with estimating software. We offer a competitive package, full benefits, 401k match, PTO, parental leave, flexible schedule and upward mobility.

Job Details

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating or a related role.
• Proficient in project estimation, cost management, project bidding, budgeting, construction estimating, material take off (MTO), and cost analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-informed decisions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in construction estimating software.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Understanding of construction laws and regulations.
• Professional certification in construction estimating or cost engineering is a plus.
