Job summary

Salesforce Sites is seeking a motivated Project Assistant to support our estimating team in South Florida. This position offers a path to grow in commercial construction by assisting with bid preparation and project documentation.

You will organize bid packages, download and distribute plans, perform quantity takeoffs, reach out to subcontractors for pricing, and maintain estimator records. Excellent organization and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable making phone calls and following up with subcontractors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the estimating team with preparing bid packages.
• Download, organize, and distribute construction plans and specifications.
• Perform quantity takeoffs.
• Contact subcontractors and suppliers to request pricing and follow up on outstanding quotes.
• Build and maintain subcontractor and vendor databases.
• Track bid deadlines and ensure proposals are submitted on time.
• Organize project files and maintain estimating records.
• Assist with general administrative tasks for the estimating department.
• Support project managers and office staff as needed.
