Job summary

UnitedHealthcare, a part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a field-based Sales Account Manager for NY Essential Plan. You will enroll eligible members, build key relationships, and drive enrollment and sales in diverse channels across New York.

This role blends indoor and outdoor activities, offering base pay plus commission. Telecommuting is possible for New York residents, with training on government programs provided on hire.

Qualifications

• Marketplace Certified (NYSOA CAC). If not active, obtain within 30 days of hire.
• 2+ years B2B or outside sales or community outreach experience
• MS Office and CRM (Salesforce) proficiency
• Ability to travel locally up to 100% in NY market
• Full business hours; some nights/weekends as required
• Residence within commuting distance to target geography
• Valid US driver's license and insurance

Responsibilities

• Enroll eligible members in UHC Essential Plan
• Build and foster relationships with key accounts (providers, CBOs, housing)
• Present health plan information to providers and potential clients
• Serve as point of contact for members and enrollment experience
• Lead pipeline management
• Meet or exceed sales and enrollment targets in the territory
• Conduct product presentations in multiple settings, including in-home consultations
