Job summary

Cosmo is hiring tutors to teach ESL students based in Asia with a flexible schedule tailored by you. This independent contractor position offers a base rate of $20 USD, plus incentives and bonuses.

Tutors will provide 1-on-1 instruction, prepare lesson materials, and communicate with students and parents professionally. A Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of experience teaching K-12 is required, alongside a passion for education and adaptable teaching style.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
