Job summary

Cosmo is seeking tutors to teach ESL students based in Asia. You will conduct 50-minute 1-on-1 lessons, providing personalized instruction while creating a welcoming learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree, teaching experience, and a strong passion for education. You'll enjoy a flexible schedule, teaching primarily between 5-9 AM EST. This independent contractor role offers a base rate of $20 USD plus incentives.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
