Job summary

Cosmo is seeking experienced tutors to teach ESL students based in Asia. This independent contractor role allows for a flexible schedule, typically requiring availability between 5-9 AM EST Monday through Friday. Tutors will provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction and support students in a welcoming online environment.

Applicants should have at least a Bachelor’s Degree and three years of teaching experience. The position offers a base rate of $20 USD per hour, plus incentives.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
