Job summary

Cosmo is seeking tutors to teach ESL students based in Asia, with a flexible schedule and consistent hours. As a tutor, you will provide personalized 1-on-1 lessons, engage students in a fun learning environment, and prepare lesson materials according to their needs.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of teaching experience. This independent contractor role offers a base rate of $20 USD per hour, plus bonuses, with the opportunity to positively impact students' learning journeys.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
