Compass International Holdings in Boynton Beach, FL is seeking an escrow officer to be the human link between our process and people. You review contracts, ensure paperwork is complete, and help move transactions toward closing.

You will work with agents, lenders, and buyers to verify titles, taxes, and funding, delivering white-glove service and a positive closing experience. This role requires 2-3 years escrow experience, notary and escrow licenses, and strong communication,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; continue education courses as required.
• Two to three years of escrow experience (front- and back-end).
• Notary public and escrow officer licenses.
• Technical knowledge of the closing process.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication to keep all parties updated and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Know the contract from start to finish to ensure timely, efficient closings.
• Verify all paperwork is complete so escrow closes on time.
• Coordinate with lenders and underwriters to fund and close transactions.
• Build relationships with agents, attorneys, lenders, surveyors, and government agencies.
• Reach out to new agents and provide white-glove service to retain business.
• Train escrow assistants and delegate tasks while auditing work.
• Be present at closing to ensure a positive experience.
