Job summary

HomeLight is seeking an experienced escrow officer to be the human link between our process and clients. You’ll review contracts, ensure paperwork is complete, and drive closings efficiently while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

You’ll verify taxes are paid, titles are clear, and funds are funded. You’ll support agents and buyers through a seamless, professional closing experience at every stage.

Qualifications

• Problem solver using industry knowledge to identify issues and prevent delays.
• Constant learner staying updated on changing rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Know the contract from start to finish to close timely and accurately.
• Verify all paperwork is complete so escrow closes on time.
• Coordinate with lenders and underwriters to fund transactions.
• Build and maintain relationships with agents, attorneys, lenders, surveyors, and agencies.
• Market the business by providing white-glove service to retain agents.
• Mentor escrow assistants to enable progression and delegation.
• Be present at closing to ensure a smooth, positive experience for all parties.
