The role focuses on risk mitigation with underwriting, accurate funds handling, timely closing, and thorough reporting, requiring 2–4 years of escrow experience and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years escrow experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers.
• Problem solving with strong organizational skills.
• Comfort with technology and proprietary programs.
• May require escrow officer certification depending on state.
• Ability to work within a team to exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Grow and service the business by delivering outstanding customer service.
• Complete escrow transactions by coordinating between buyer, seller, and lender.
• Collaborate with Underwriting to monitor and mitigate risk.
• Ensure funds are accounted for and disbursed per contract terms.
• Complete closing by reviewing and filing documents and preparing final statements.
• Prepare regular escrow status reports for involved parties.
• Prepare legal documents for the closure of the sale.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements in all activities.
