Job summary

ArchKey Solutions LLC seeks a Safety Manager to provide comprehensive ES&H leadership on regional projects, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines. The role focuses on mentoring teams, driving safety-centric culture, and managing incidents and claims.

You will oversee DOT, OSHA, MSHA, and related inspections, implement safety policies, and coordinate with project management to minimize risk while maintaining project timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in safety, environmental health, construction safety management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in building and electrical construction.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, DOT, NFPA 70E safety rules and regulations.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Strong project management and awareness of the project life cycle.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and build strong relationships.

Responsibilities

• Creates and implements safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local rules.
• Directs development of safety strategy with leadership to mitigate risks and incidents.
• Guides project teams and safety leadership on compliance and preventative actions.
• Conducts safety inspections and audits across job sites and promotes safe work practices.
• Oversees DOT regulatory compliance including driver qualification, drug testing, and inspections.
• Uses safety software to manage incidents, training, audits, and driver records.
• Monitors injury records, medical reports, and claims to ensure proper handling and prevention.
