Layup Parts is seeking an organized order processing specialist who will own orders from entry through invoicing. You will be the first voice to customers, delivering timely acknowledgements and updates while coordinating with production for accurate ship dates.
The role requires strong communication, ERP experience, and comfort working across phone, email, chat, and social channels to keep customers informed and satisfied.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Active listening and problem-solving ability.
- ERP software experience.
- Comfort supporting customers across multiple channels (phone, email, chat, social media).
- Solid data entry and documentation skills.
- Basic troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of company products and services.
Responsibilities
- Own order entry from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and momentum in the ERP system.
- Send fast, on-point order acknowledgements to set the tone for the relationship.
- Provide real-time visibility into completion and shipping dates with production.
- Coordinate with logistics and partners to ensure smooth order delivery.
- Route completed jobs through ERP for accurate invoicing by accounting.
