Job summary

Wenthe-Davidson Engineering Co. is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to enter orders in the ERP system and serve as the primary contact for daily customer inquiries.

You will confirm orders, coordinate with scheduling on shipping status and backorders, and use ERP and EDI portals to verify POs and order data. The role requires a high school diploma, at least two years of customer service experience, and strong communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience; experience supporting business clients preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems; Infor SyteLine knowledge a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail oriented and organized.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.
• Process and problem-solving mindset; desire to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Enters customer orders into ERP.
• Acts as first line interface for daily customer inquiries (order status, shipment status, order problems).
• Confirms orders, coordinates with scheduling to provide shipping updates and notify on backorders or date changes.
• Uses ERPs and EDI Portals to pull and confirm POs and Order Data.
• Initiates JIT RFQs, revisions and part reactivations.
• Resolves price and part discrepancies; ensures ISO change control compliance.
