The Addison Group is partnering with a global company in the Austin, TX area to recruit an experienced ERP Functional Analyst for a contract-to-hire engagement. This role will drive finance ERP transformation from Oracle EBS/R12 to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and bridge business needs with technical solutions.

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a global company based in the Austin, TX area that is seeking an experienced ERP Functional Analyst to join its Finance Systems team!

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a large-scale global ERP transformation as the organization transitions from Oracle EBS/R12 to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on ERP experience, a solid understanding of Finance-related business processes, and the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Finance and IT teams on the global design, implementation, development, and deployment of ERP applications.
• Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective ERP system solutions.
• Support ERP configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing system enhancements.
• Identify opportunities for business process improvement, automation, and increased operational efficiency.
• Participate in the organization's transition from Oracle EBS/R12 to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Partner with global stakeholders to support successful system adoption and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with major ERP systems such as Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, or SAP.
• Hands-on ERP functional experience, including system configuration, enhancements, or implementation support.
• Strong understanding of Finance-related ERP processes, particularly Accounts Payable (AP), Fixed Assets (FA), and Expense Reporting.
• Experience analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, and improving business processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP functional experience, particularly SAP S/4HANA or SAP FICO.
• Experience participating in ERP implementations, migrations, or system transformations.
• Knowledge of General Ledger (GL), Intercompany, Inventory, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Purchasing processes.
• Experience supporting enterprise-wide ERP systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Treasury experience, including cash management, cash forecasting, reconciliations, or bank account administration.
• Primarily remote opportunity; Austin/Round Rock-area candidates preferred, as occasional onsite attendance may be required for important meetings (approximately quarterly).
• Opportunity to contribute to a global SAP S/4HANA implementation.
