Job summary

illumifin is seeking a Senior Accounting Systems Administrator to oversee the ERP and General Ledger systems, ensuring timely and accurate financial results. You will manage user access, upgrades, data integrations, reporting, and serve as the subject matter expert for the ERP.

The role leads automation initiatives, collaborates across Accounting, Finance, AR, AP and Management, and supervises outside consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or accounting information systems.
• 5+ years administering a mid- to large-size enterprise ERP.
• Proficiency with evolving technology.
• Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, Agentic AI or similar automation tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication with leadership.
• Familiarity with month-end close, journal entries, financial reporting, financial statements, internal controls, and subledgers.

Responsibilities

• Administer the ERP (Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance & Operations) including roles, permissions, training, updates, upgrades, and reporting.
• Coordinate external ERP consultants and manage project timing and spend.
• Support non-ERP accounting systems and key data integrations.
• Lead automation initiatives and evaluate new technologies for process improvements.
• Manage, coach, and develop staff.
• Document policies, processes, and system changes.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, AR, AP, and Account Management.
• Support timely preparation of financial statements.
