Job summary

Responsibilities

• Serves as unit receptionist, directs patients and visitors and answers calls.
• Uses pneumatic tube system and coordinates specimen transport.
• Transcribes physician orders and enters them per procedure.
• Maintains patient charts and medical records; files documents.
• Schedules patients for consults and transports as needed.
• Maintains census data and unit logistics for admissions/discharges.
