Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintained.
• ALS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• PALS certificate and/or ENPC within 60 days of hire and maintained.
• CEN certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ED using the nursing process.
• Direct patient/family teaching and supervise other nursing staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality; EMTALA compliance.
• Respond quickly to clinical changes and ensure safe care.
