Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth in Chicago, IL is seeking a Temporary Internal Registry RN for Night Shift in the Emergency Department. The RN will provide direct patient care, function within the nursing process, and ensure patient safety and privacy while coordinating with physicians on clinical changes.

The assignment lasts about 12 weeks with potential extensions; requires active RN license, BLS, ALS, PALS/ENPC; BSN preferred; CEN preferred. Night shift, hourly pay $60.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Current ALS certificate.
• Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC.
• CEN certification preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care within the Emergency Department using the nursing process.
• Coordinate with physicians about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Guide patient and family education and activities of other nursing staff.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality per policy.
