Job summary

Prime Healthcare in Evanston, IL is seeking a Temporary Internal Registry Registered Nurse (RN) for the Day Shift to support Telemetry services. The assignment is expected to last 12 weeks with potential for extension based on needs.

Responsibilities include cardiovascular care, patient handoffs, medication administration, and monitoring during stress tests, EKGs, and heart monitor applications within the Cardiovascular Service line.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certificate on hire and maintained.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Cardiovascular Service line, aligning with Prime Healthcare’s mission and values.
• Oversee handoffs, administer medications, and monitor patients during cardiovascular tests and exercise programs.
