Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking an ER Technician to assist in the Emergency Department under RN supervision. You will administer patient care, follow the physician- and nurse-directed plan, and address patient needs across ages from infancy to geriatric to ensure smooth flow.

The role requires BLS, CPI within 90 days, and EMT/CNA/MA credentials or RN student status with clinical coursework completed. Comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association.
• Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• EMT, CNA or Medical Assistant required -OR- currently enrolled in RN program with successful completion of 2 semesters of clinical coursework.
• Basic dysrhythmia certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer patient care to designated patients under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Follow the plan of care set by the RN/physician and address patient needs by age and diagnosis.
• Assist in maintaining smooth patient flow in the Emergency Department with direct and indirect care.
