Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking an ER Technician in California to provide patient care under supervision of a registered nurse.

You will follow care plans, assist with both direct and indirect duties, and help manage patient flow across ages from infancy to geriatric in the Emergency Department. Qualifying candidates will hold BLS, CPI within 90 days, and EMT/CNA/MA credentials or current RN study with clinical coursework.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as required.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
• EMT, CNA or Medical Assistant credential required or in RN program.
• Basic dysrhythmia certification expected within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administers patient care under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Follows the plan of care set by RN/physician and supports age- and diagnosis-based needs.
• Performs direct and indirect patient care to maintain smooth ED flow.
