Job summary

Emerus is seeking a patient-focused ER Technician to provide technical assistance and supportive care across assigned areas. You will collect vitals, document findings, and support patient needs in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include lab specimen collection, assisting with activities of daily living, maintaining safety, and ensuring privacy. Travel between facility locations may be required; excellence in teamwork and communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; additional healthcare training preferred.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS/ALS may be required in some markets.
• Experience with IV starts, phlebotomy, and EKG initiation is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, document clinical data and vital signs; monitor patient status.
• Collect lab samples and perform tests per policies and CLIA/COLA rules.
• Assist with patient activities and care per care plan; provide superficial wound care.
