Qualifications

• BSN required; Illinois Registered Nurse license required
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/ENPC and TNCC within one year of hire
• ADN degree acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN within three years of employment

Responsibilities

• Assess and record patient status and care needs on admission
• Organize health data for accurate care planning
• Identify urgent problems and coordinate nursing interventions
• Document diagnoses and plans of care with patient/family input
• Develop discharge plans and educate patients and families
• Provide evidence-based nursing care and ongoing reassessment
• Collaborate with the care team and participate in multidisciplinary rounds
