Job summary

Emerus, a leader in small-format hospitals, seeks an ER Registered Nurse to perform nursing care in the Emergency Room, including assessment, planning, directing and evaluating patient care.

The role requires 2+ years ER experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. This full-time position is day shift (7am-7pm) at our Fort Worth facility with shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with no sanctions.
• 2+ years of full-time ER nursing experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• English fluency in speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in the ER.
• Document accurately and legibly in medical records.
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient status.
• Adhere to infection control and isolation procedures.
• Support patient safety and privacy at all times.
• Assemble equipment for diagnostic procedures.
• Follow physicians' orders and discharge planning.
