HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is seeking an ER Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, fast-paced emergency care in a 340-bed facility serving Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas counties. You’ll contribute to patient outcomes and participate in ongoing nursing initiatives.

The role requires Florida RN licensure (or compact) with 60-day activation; BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC, and NIHSS certifications are expected within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Licensed Florida RN or compact license; active FL RN within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• PALS and/or ENPC certifications required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• NIHSS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Strong critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage efficient flow of patients including triage, screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care, and arranging or testing and admissions.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
