HCA Florida West Hospital in Pensacola, FL, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room on a PRN basis. The RN coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care within the department, collaborating with providers and the care team to uphold standards of practice.

Responsibilities include pain assessment, documentation, timely response to requests, and patient education on conditions, treatments, and self-management.

Formación

• RN with an active license in the state or eligible,” as stated in the job posting.
• ACLS certification to be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of start date.
• PALS Pediatric Life Support within 90 days of start date.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management.
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, meds, and follow-up.
• Teach self-management, healthy lifestyle changes, and discharge instructions.
