Job summary

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 90 days.
• RN (Registered Nurse) certification and licensure.
• Associate Degree in nursing or equivalent.
• No travel required for this role.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management and reassess after interventions.
• Performs procedures and monitoring and documents care in the medical record timely.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs.
• Teaches patients, families and caregivers about condition, treatment plan, medications and follow-up.
• Instructs on non-medicinal follow-up measures and prepares for self-management.
