HCA Florida West Marion Hospital is seeking a PRN Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team in Ocala, FL. The RN will coordinate and deliver patient-centered care within established standards, collaborating with providers and care teams in a high-volume emergency department.

Responsibilities include pain management, timely documentation, patient education, and advocacy for patients and families. Requirements include Florida RN license, ACLS/BLS/PALS/ENPC timelines, and an Associate Degree

Qualificações

• Active RN license with eligibility for Florida (or multistate) license
• ACLS required within 90 days of start date
• BLS/CPR certification required
• PALS required within 90 days of start date
• ENPC or equivalent pediatric course within 6 months
• No travel required, no experience required
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient pain and promote effective pain management
• Document care in the medical record promptly and accurately
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up measures
• Advise on non-medicinal follow-up measures and self-management planning
