Qualifications

• RN license required/registered nurse
• ACLS to be obtained within 90 days of start
• BLS to be obtained within 30 days of start
• PALS to be obtained within 90 days of start
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention to be obtained within 90 days of start

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly and promote pain management
• Perform procedures and document care in medical records
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs
• Educate patients/families about conditions, treatment plans and medications
• Prepare patients for self-management and lifestyle changes
