Job summary

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a PRN basis. The role focuses on coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with department standards and state requirements.

Qualifications

• RN license required or eligible in the state of Florida.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required or obtained within 30 days of start date.
• PALS certification required or obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 90 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and manage pain and symptoms as ordered.
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and ensure compassionate service.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Support a patient-centered care plan in collaboration with the care team.
