Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Services - Bayonne location, working the night shift on a full-time basis. The role offers an hourly compensation range and requires an active New Jersey RN license with BLS certification.

BSN preferred and EMR experience (EPIC) is advantageous. The RN will assess patients, administer treatments, document in EMR, and collaborate with physicians to ensure high-quality care and patient safety, while engaging in ongoing

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Prior patient care experience in emergency nursing desired.
• Comfort with EPIC EMR system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes to intervene early.
• Administer safe, evidence-based medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for timely care decisions.
• Provide clear, compassionate education to patients and families.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to facilitate communication and transitions of care.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and pursue ongoing professional growth.
