RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department in Livingston, NJ. This full-time, night-shift position requires a NJ RN license, BLS, I.V. certification, and ACLS within 6 months.

The role emphasizes patient assessment, evidence-based care, and teamwork in a fast-paced ED environment. The position includes three 12.5-hour night shifts with every other weekend and holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• I.V. certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS on hire or within 6 months of start date.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications and hands-on care.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for timely care decisions.
• Educate patients and families for continuity of care.
• Document accurately in the EMR.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care transitions.
• Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team.
