You will verify IDENT and insurance details, collect co-pays, and support billing and documentation while coordinating with clinical and administrative teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or training in medical office administration or healthcare administration preferred.
• 0-2 years in healthcare registration, scheduling, or front desk required.
• 0-2 years in customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families professionally to set a positive tone.
• Register patients for emergency services with complete info.
• Verify patient identity and insurance details at intake.
• Obtain signatures on consent forms and explain them clearly.
• Verify coverage, document for billing, and collect co-pays when applicable.
• Assist patients with insurance requirements and questions.
• Document accurately when patients cannot sign and coordinate nursing sign-off.
• Maintain patient records, armband IDs, and timely communications with care teams.
• Notify departments and physicians of arrivals; follow up as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with facility policies.
