Job summary

SignatureCare Emergency Center is seeking a Registration clerk to gather accurate patient demographics and financial information for registration and billing. You will support RNs and physicians, maintain patient logs, and ensure a smooth admissions process in a fast-paced emergency setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of related experience, BLS certification, strong communication skills, and a service-oriented mindset with problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a related role.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Flexible and service-oriented with problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist patients with registration.
• Maintain accurate patient logs and financial information for billing.
• Handle cash and banking procedures per policy.
• Type and document in the EMR and communicate with nursing staff.
• Monitor communications and report incidents to the Nurse Manager.
• Work well under pressure in a fast-paced emergency department.
