Job summary

AdventHealth Denver is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to provide compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced setting. You will assess patients, implement individualized care plans, administer medications, educate families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires RN license, BLS, Associate degree minimum (Bachelor preferred), and at least 1 year of ED experience.

Qualifications

• RN ED experience preferred.
• 1 year of recent ED experience required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans; reassess regularly.
• Administer medications per orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and treatments.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care.
• Document care activities accurately in medical records.
