Job summary
AdventHealth in Denver, Colorado is seeking an experienced ED RN for a full-time night shift. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate patients, and collaborate with the care team in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements include RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of ED experience; nursing education includes Associate's degree with Bachelor's preferred. Exceptional communication and critical thinking are essential.
Qualifications
- Must be an RN with at least 1 year of ED experience
- BLS certification required
- English fluency in reading, writing and speaking
- Strong patient assessment and care planning abilities
- Confidence in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural and spiritual factors
- Develop and implement individualized care plans and adjust as needed
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols
- Educate patients and families about conditions and self-care
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure effective communication and teamwork
