Job summary

St. David's Emergency Center - Wells Branch in Texas seeks a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Department.

You will work with physicians and the care team to assess pain, perform procedures, document care, and educate patients and families about conditions and follow-up steps. Candidates must obtain ACLS, BLS, ENPC within specified timeframes and hold RN licensure.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in good standing per state requirements.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment start date.
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 18 months of employment start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale within 60 days of employment start date.
• Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses or Trauma Nursing Core Course within 18 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with medical providers and care team to ensure best outcomes.
• Assess pain and promote effective pain management with timely reassessments.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, and document care in the patient record.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about health conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up.
