Job summary

Methodist Boerne Emergency Center seeks an experienced Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to provide timely interventions and comprehensive teaching to patients and families.

The role requires an active RN license in Texas, ACLS/BCLS/TNCC/PALS within specified timelines, and at least 6 months of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license as required by the state of Texas.
• ACLS within 90 days of start date; BCLS within 30 days; TNCC within 1 year.
• PALS within 90 days of start date; Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 6 months.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a licensed RN.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, and document care in the electronic medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
• Support patient self-management through lifestyle guidance and post-discharge planning.
