Medical City Dallas is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room in Garland. The RN will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team, employing established nursing models to support outcomes and the patient experience.

Responsibilities include pain assessment, timely documentation, responsive patient advocacy, and patient/family teaching about conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up measures.

Competenze

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course within 18 months of employment start date.
• PALS within 30 days of employment start date.
• (RN) Registered Nurse licensure required.
• BCLS Instructor within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 1 year of employment start date.

Mansioni

• Assess patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management and reassess after interventions.
• Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs to resolve them proactively.
• Teach patients/families/caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures.
• Educate on non-medicinal follow-up measures such as diet, exercise, prevention, and self-management.
