Qualifications

• Advanced cardiac life support is required within 30 days of start date.
• PALS certification must be obtained within 18 months of start date.
• BCLS certification or instructor status within 30 days of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention or equivalent program within 1 year.
• RN licensure as a registered nurse is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, and other tasks as ordered by providers; document in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Translate medical information to ensure patient understanding and empower self-management.
