• Checks in and registers patients; collects demographic, insurance and co-pay information.
• Explains insurance basics and directs patients to Financial Advocates when needed.
• Follows HIPAA, EMTALA, and patient rights rules; collects patient signatures as required.
• Schedules appointments and coordinates cancellations, recalls, and wait lists.
• Delivers welcoming, professional service; greets patients and assists with directions, transport, and interpreter needs.
