Job summary

Tyvan LLC is seeking a Patient Access Representative to join our emergency center team. The role focuses on smooth check-in/check-out, accurate demographic collection, and ensuring billing accuracy with compliant signatures.

Candidates should have at least 2 years in a hospital/ER setting, familiarity with EMR systems, and a commitment to patient confidentiality. The position offers incentives and a culture focused on great care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Patient Access Representative in a hospital, ER, or clinic.
• Experience with ER registration, admitting, and scheduling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk Operations: greet patients, determine needed services, collect demographics and signatures.
• Maintain patient logs and handle phone inquiries professionally.
• Assist with office supplies and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Financial responsibilities: collect co-pays and reconcile patient accounts daily.
• Support facility cleanliness and assist with patient care areas as needed.
• Interact courteously with patients, families, physicians and staff; uphold core values.
