Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an Emergency Department Technician in Illinois to join our patient-centered team. You will provide vital patient care under the supervision of RNs and physicians, perform monitoring, obtain samples, and assist with procedures within your scope of practice.

Requirements include EMT license with 1+ year experience or EMT-B, High School diploma, and BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred. This position features rotating shifts, and a commitment to safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• EMT license with 1+ year experience in a similar role.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CERT Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care under RN/Physician supervision.
• Monitor patients, obtain vitals, and report changes.
• Administer treatments within scope of practice and assist with procedures.
• Assist in OB/GYN care and equipment preparation.
