Qualifications

• Current EMT P license without restrictions or EMT B within at least one (1) year relative experience in a similar capacity; including, but not limited to: Military experience, private ambulance company, fire department or healthcare setting
• High School graduate or equivalent
• CERT Basic Life Support

Responsibilities

• The Paramedic functions under the direction of the Emergency Nurse (RN) and Physician and collects pertinent data within their scope of responsibilities.
• Administers treatments and various procedures (within their scope of practice) to patients as ordered by the physician and directed by the Professional Nursing Staff.
• Performs patient care tasks, monitors patients, and reports changes to RNs/physicians.
